research.cheap collects only what is needed to operate accounts and run the research workflows you choose.

Accounts, Screen, and Exclusion Audit

Supabase stores your account and project documents, including imported citation data, criteria, automatic screening routes, supporting probabilities, and your separate corrections. Row Level Security restricts project rows to their owner. While screening, small batches of title, abstract, publication type, year, keywords, and eligibility criteria pass through the research.cheap server to TypeSafe Jev for evaluation. Secret API keys remain server-side.

Test payments

Dodo Payments processes test checkout and payment details. research.cheap stores Dodo identifiers and signed billing-event records needed to show Research Credits and audit changes; it does not store card details.

Advertising and measurement

Optional Meta measurement runs only after you allow it. Campaign attribution and basic funnel events may be stored, but research titles, abstracts, criteria, and decisions are never sent to advertising analytics. You can choose “Essential only” in the consent notice.

Historical access research

If you previously joined the launch waitlist, the contact details and questionnaire answers you volunteered may remain in Supabase until you ask us to delete them.

What we do not claim

research.cheap does not currently claim HIPAA, SOC 2, or regulatory certification. Automatic title-and-abstract routes are research aids, not final full-text eligibility or medical conclusions.

Your choices

Your project data remains exportable. To ask about your account or historical waitlist data, or request deletion, email privacy@research.cheap.
